These are the steps which work almost without fail for pothos or money plant propagation, but superfast.

Pinning

Wherever you see nodes sticking out of the stem of a money plant, just push a bent wire or hair pin down to secure the nodes in place into the soil.

Propagating

Cut off the stem above the nodes. Roots grow back in 4-5 weeks when the nodes are put in a glass of water.

Direct sunlight

Everyone loves sunlight, even Pothos. To make them grow faster, move them from your indoors to the sunny outdoors.

Rotation

Rotate plants leaves towards the brightest sunlight. Rotating them ourselves helps them save their energy to rotate, and focus on growing instead.

Moss Tower

It gives nutrients and water to plants, better than soil. It’s easier to keep moist.

Fertiliser

Fertiliser doesn’t matter much. Pick anything suitable for houseplants. Sunlight aka photosynthesis is the best plant grower.

Repotting

Check foliage of plants. Always check moisture content before watering plants. If any roots look black, give them a bigger pot. Drainage should be excellent.

How to get bigger leaves

Support

They need something to climb on. Fastest is a moss pole. A plastic cage filled with sphagnum moss. The nodes are encouraged to go into the moss pole to seek extra nutrition and consistent moisture for the plant, growing into great root systems.
